I really wanted to like this thermos. I read the reviews and it seemed fairly positive. My daughter had to have this one because she loved the color. The problem with this thermos is that it does not keep food hot. I volunteer at my daughter's school for lunch almost every day. Every morning at 7:30am I put boiling water in it. My daughter has an early lunch, 11am. And by 11am the food is either cold or barely warm. Today I made Mac & Cheese on the stove. I poured the boiling water out of her thermos and put in mac & cheese noodles that were extremely hot from the stove into the thermos. A little over 3 hours later, I was at her school for lunch. When I opened up her thermos, the noodles were cold. I was very surprised. Needless to say, I will be looking for a new thermos. I recommend that you do not buy this product, unless you do not care if your food stays warm. Update 4/18/12 After writing this review, a person commented on it saying I should put boiling water in it before putting food in it. I quickly responded to the comment letting them know I did put boiling water in it, and if they had read my review they would have noticed that. They followed up with the comment by stating that they worked for the company. Interesting that they never stated that in their first comment. Anyway, they said I should contact customer support and they would take care of me. I contacted customer support on 3/12 and they apologized and said they would send me a new thermos. I have waited over 6 weeks and no new thermos has arrived. So, I changed my review to one star. Being led on, deceived and manipulated by this company feels worse than the terrible product they sold me.
