Not compatible with new ARC circuit breakers required by law in newer homes. I purchased 2 of these for my condo and began to experience frequent power outages. I suspected it was these power line adapters but was not sure. I recently purchased 2 more and after installing those the circuit breaker began to be tripped multiple times per day. I removed all of them and no more circuit breaker issues. UPDATE: I reached out to TP-LINK and they admitted that these do not work with ARC circuit breakers found in most new homes as well as renovated homes in North America. They said to reach out to Amazon for a refund. I asked the followup question of why this is not stated anywhere in their marketing materials or documentation. I have yet to receive a response. I also informed them this purchase is outside of Amazon's return window and what they suggest I do. I have not received a response to this question either.
