"Best Portable Outdoor and Shower Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker by AYL....." the description does not even SLIGHTLY exaggerate! Now before I begin this, hopefully to make this short and sweet, I PAID for my speaker. This is not a slight towards others, but this is said so that should anyone find themselves straddling the fence as to whether or not you should buy this, go ahead and jump where the grass is greener! It is often easy to assume that when someone states that have received an item for an honest review, the review is viewed as being fluffed and puffed to keep the goods coming their way. I see now that is not necessarily the case based heavily on this experience, but I am reminded what my driver's ed teacher, Mr. Davis, in his self described "old drab voice" used to say, "Never assume, because when you assume, you make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'. I waited nearly 30 days for the orange speaker to become available (burnt orange is my favorite color so I had to keep it in the family, right?!), but since AYL's Bluetooth headset was all that & a bag of chips, I figured since I was now jumping back into the Bluetooth arena, I might as well get both wet feet! For years I have been wary of Bluetooth and it was not and is not based on ignorance. BUT!, due to a significant change in lifestyle, I have found it necessary to re-consider the technology and obviously leaving this review shows a positive change in attitude. Syncing up with my Nvidia Shield LTE was easy peasy, didn't even need a code to join them in matriharmony. Whether you listen to this speaker outside, around in your home, or inside the shower (which was my primary reason for getting this, do what you will with that~~yeah), the sound coming through is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Clear, crisp, loud, consistent sound is perhaps the barometer by which we all judge speakers, and while I cannot say much more expensive sound better, saying "For the money" would not do this justice: it would be an insult. Teddy Pendergrass~It Don't Hurt Now Ever get that tingling sensation inside when you re-visit music you haven't listened to in a while, especially those tracks you forgot you even possessed in the cellar of your musical repertoire? That's exactly what happened here, like what an idiot child feels when someone dares them to put their tongue on a 9 Volt battery -- a shocking way to create a memory! Good music provides that benefit, but GREAT! music will always simmer below the surface of our being, patiently waiting to erupt on a moment's notice, deliciously warming you all over like the lava it naturally produces yet it never burns. Yeah. And EVEN if you are in the shower, the sound is in no way diminished, doused nor drowned so get ready for complaints that "YOU ARE USING UP ALL THE HOT WATER!!!!!" Allow AYL to help you hear every varied vocal, snare snapping, bass bumpin', drum dripping, piano playin', guitar goodness, sax~y satisfying delicacies your ears can stand. It is TRULY (NOT) worth the money. ~No diggity, No doubt~(Wait a minute! THIS IS SOME BULL SHIGGITY!!! LET ME BREAK THIS DOWN BEFORE I'M OUT!) Accessorize Your Life IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! If I were a vulgar person, I'd throw some expletives in here, but please allow me to explain my case. I purchased two speakers from AYL, the first speaker was green and when I realized the error I made, I contacted the company and found out the color I wanted would not be available for another 30 days. So I of course canceled the initial order and waited for the orange speaker to arrive. Now since my first order was canceled, a refund had to be issued. Easy peasy. HOWEVER!, now that I have the orange speaker, AYL is refusing to honor the LIFETIME WORRY FREE WARRANTY explicitly stated on the listing, twice as a matter of fact. Because I was offered a refund for leaving a positive review on Amazon, AYL will NOT honor the warranty, even though I still have the speaker. Their listing does not explain how the warranty is expressed; whether that means the speaker is repaired or replaced. But neither in their listing nor by message was I ever told that by leaving a review & receiving a refund would I make the warranty null & void. They will not even acknowledge their own language, which is unfair and rather unscrupulous. AYL feels since a refund was credited to me, the issue is moot. Perhaps you'll see AYL change their verbiage should someone read this from their company, so I took screenshots in case anyone needs to see them. So I had to involve Amazon, whose customer service has exemplified why their customer service is truly great and absolutely THE BEST EVER! Amazon agreed with me, and took the necessary steps to alleviate my stress. While Amazon compiled with the stance AYL is taking, it was made clear to me that I am 100% correct in my view, according to what is written & what was never detailed. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE! be wary if you choose to purchase from this company. When someone is simply sending a message to respond to a concern, sometimes, answers to questions can appear quite cold & thuggish. By taking such a position, AYL has made both themselves look bad & untrustworthy and left the potential for Amazon to carry the same reflection. To be clear, this IS NOT an Amazon problem, but only Amazon offered me an apology. And remember, when it comes to AYL, these letters say it all - A.nyway Y.ou L.ose. ~No diggity, No doubt~
