Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read the many positive reviews and some of the negative ones and I have to agree with the negative reviews. This game is very pointless. Unlike other negative reviews, I actually like the control system. Most games like this have static controls to manipulate movement and view, but this one seems to register correctly everywhere I touched making it kind of cool. HOWEVER, the game itself really sucks. I played "road" or whatever and basically you just walk down the road and get some notes. Every once in a while you see the "slender man" appear in the woods and if you approach him you die. Other than picking up notes from trees and crap you don't really do anything else. The sound is very repetitive and somewhat reminiscent of the sound you hear in a Friday the 13th kind of horror movie when the killer is about to strike...only it's far less ominous and just loops over and over and over again. After 5 minutes I had to turn the volume off because of how annoying it was. So, maybe I don't get it...I never heard of "Slender Man" before and there seems to be some lore around him...but the game itself is incredibly and horribly boring with no story line that I can see, no action, no activity, and nothing at all scary. With the hundred+ reviews talking about how incredibly fun and scary it is, I was expecting more...much more.
