Not as good as it appeared
Saw this item mentioned in The Week magazine. It looked like a brilliant idea. I Went immediately to Amazon, and there it was, so I ordered it, even though the cost was pretty high for a soap dispenser like this. As it turns out, there are several things wrong with it. The place where you are told to "Press Here", slopes upward, so you tend to push the dispenser away as you attempt to get some soap. The force required to dispense soap is quite high, compared to common soap dispensers, adding the the pushing away, especially if it is wet, or your hands are wet. It is nearly impossible to dispense soap into your hand, without dribbling it over the edge of your palm, or between your fingers. Most of the time I resort to pushing down with the thumb of my right hand, and hoping to catch the soap in my hand, but I always seem to spill some. If anyone out there knows how to use this thing satisfactorily, and could explain this to me, I would be most happy to admit the error of my ways, and try again. It's not too bad, if you press with one hand, and catch the soap in your other hand, but I already have one of those, and it only cost a dollar. In the meantime, this still seems like one of those things that was never used by whoever designed it.
