I purchased this ceiling fan in October of 2018 in advance of a bathroom / whole house remodel. It wasn't installed until December 2018 after all the painting and new tile work was completed. It worked for less than 45 MINUTES total running time after several showers and just quit. The first thing that I did was to check the switched power and found it to be O.K. I removed the ceiling fan and found that there was a complete open in the fan circuitry. I contacted Amazon to discover that because the fan was outside of their 30 day return policy I would have to contact the Broan Company for resolve. I contacted their Customer Service department at 1(888) 336-3948 and talked to the representative that more or less determined that the circuitry was bad and that they would send me a Thermo Coupler to install myself. Because I was unhappy with this answer, I asked to talk to the supervisor of the department, and was referred to a recording which instructed me to leave a message along with a telephone number which I did. It's been over a week and no response. My problem with all of this is that I supposedly purchased a brand new unit which quit working and now I am supposed to work on the circuitry for it to function properly. Not only that but the inconvenience to install the unit , remove the unit and now its sitting on the bench with no parts and I have no heat in the shower room. I AM A VERY UNHAPPY CONSUMER RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, this unit replaced a like unit that was in place for over 16 years and never had a problem. GOOD LUCK DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. Also, getting in touch with Amazon is impossible. The only way I could make my problem heard was to right this review. I hope somebody with some AUTHORITY WILL READ IT.
