Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

NOT FOUR QUARTS - I ordered this Crock Pot wanting a smaller version than my 5 and 6 quart crocks but bigger than the 3-1/2 quart Crock Pot I've owned for nearly 40 years. We have six Crock Pots in varying sizes. This is advertised as a 4-Qt Crock pot. It is only THREE QUARTS. That's 25% smaller than advertised. None of the Crock Pots hold exactly the amount advertised but this is ridiculous. When you fill the crock up with water, the water level reaches the lip where the lid sits. When you add the extra fourth quart it overflows. While it's still a functional 3-Qt crock pot, it is not sized as advertised. Also, I don't like the glaze on the crock. It's not red and it's not burgundy. It's an ugly pinky burgundy. I replaced the first one with this second one thinking that the box was mispacked. Nope, it's the same size, same ugly glaze. Amazon had kindly replaced it but this is too small for my use. The photo attached shows the crock filled with three (3) quarts of water. If you had any more liquid in this it would be boiling right past the lid.
