Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

The only thing this show has to do with The Wheel of Time is that they stole the title are using the names of characters and places from the books. Literally everything else is an invention of the Amazon writing room. The lore, the character's personality and relationships, the story arcs, everything has been changed and every single change was for the worse. I have never seen an "adaptation" make so many completely unnecessary changes. I waited to write this until I'd seen the entire 1st season, to really give it a chance. But it got harder with every episode. Having read the books for the 1st time recently, in anticipation of this show, i found it impossible to get through a single scene without shaking my head or rolling my eyes at all the ridiculous senseless changes made to the story and characters. This show is like a poorly written fan-fiction written by a group of stoned teenagers. I can understand some people giving 3 & maybe even 4 star reviews. If you'd never read the books i can see this being an "okay" fantasy series. The sets and props are nice, and the actors seem to be trying their best with the train wreck of a script they were given. But, if you enjoyed the books, this show just feels like the writers are spitting in your face and expecting you to enjoy it.
