Why is This Marketed As A Love Story?
***May contain spoilers*** Seriously, I would really like to know because there was very little romance. Yes, they had some romantic times, but most of the time the book they weren't even in a relationship! That aside, I understand authors wanting to add angst and some trials to their books, but there is such a thing as too much heartbreak and at 90% the most unnecessary heartbreak happens and I had to close the book ad I will not be finishing it. I read to escape the stress and heartbreak of the real world, reading is my happy place and this book completely devastated me AND IT WASN'T NECESSARY! The author doing what she did added nothing to this book. Had I known how it was going to turn out I NEVER would have purchased it. I will definitely never be reading anything from this author again. Is this an emotional reaction and review? Damn right it is. I have lines I will not cross when it comes to reading and unnecessarily killing people off for the sake of "entertainment" or a "plot twist" is one of those lines. Another line is one I won't say because it will spoil the book. Then again, maybe my review will save others the heartbreak of reading this book. If you love emotional roller coasters that ends with your heartbreaking and feeling emotionally drained for days, then this book is for you. If you read for entertainment and don't like crying at the end of a book because of a completely unnecessary death I urge you not to read this. I one clicked this based off of the recommendation of one of my favorite book blogs and jumped into reading it without looking at the reviews first like I usually do and I regret that now.
