Save your money for a real no-pull harness. I bought this for my dog, a large Greyhound at 85 lb., to test the ThunderLeash, and my dog was already trained not to pull on leash, so I can tell you that this leash/harness system does not work once a dog walks loose-leash. The clip and leash fall to the side, and you end up with the whole thing on one side of the dog. You have to constantly reposition it, which is a real hassle. Second, when the dog does pull forward, the ThunderLeash rubs the legpit area too much. I would not recommend this for short-haired dogs at all. This product could be much improved in future versions, and I'd start with having more sizes. The Large size is ridiculously small on a tall and long dog like mine -- he's 29 inches tall at the withers and has a chest circumference of 32 inches. The leash clip is too short and makes the leash wrap around his shoulders instead of his chest, hence the rubbing on the legpit areas and annoying the dog's gait on the shoulder. Compared to our Ruffwear Front Range Harness, this product falls quite short, which is too bad since I wanted to like it and use it as a quick leash-harness conversion.
