Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

This is a iron from HELL...In all my 65 years plus, have I experience a iron like this. I took the iron out of the box...plugged it in and waited for it to warm up...this is what I normally do before ironing...the iron started beeping and wouldn't warm up...so I moved the dial to see if the iron would warm up, it did...It got so hot that it burned a hole in my Kimono, it also burned my ironing board cover...my house was full of smoke. There wasn't a temperature gauge on the iron, to indicate what level of heat was good for the fabric that you were ironing. This iron got Dangerously Hot...so hot that it scorched my fingertips. I truly believe if this iron was knocked over and left unattended for a while...it could cause a fire. After reading reviews on this iron, the same thing happened to other people that purchased this iron....I don't if this iron was defective...I just know you should think twice before buying it.
