I have fed my Golden Labs Purina Pro Plan Chicken & Rice Formula for years. For the past year my wife and I have battled small larvae in the closet (on the ceiling) where I keep the dog food. Often small moths, we thought were coming through cracks in the walls somewhere in the closet. We never directly linked it to the dog food until recently as I've begun to dump it into a large plastic bin for storage. This is absolutely the source from brand NEW bags of food. The last NEW bag was infested with full grown moths and larva embedded in their food!! Our dog would regularly vomit and have massive diarrhea, which has cost us a fortune in vets bills. We did a search and found 607 complaints that it has been going on for many years and Purina is doing nothing about it. After 19 years I've purchased my last bag of Purina dog food and since the company continues to neglect this issue, I will continue to spread the word as much as possible. We urge you to do the same and to find a new product to feed your dogs!
