Very disappointed in this item. I should have listened the the reviews. The plates did not line up at all, Only the ends of the plates were touching so my hair would not stay in the straightener and my hair kept getting caught in the end. The glove that came is no where near what is pictured in the description. It is not a full glove with BaByliss on it, but a cheap felt partial glove with a thumb and two fingers. The iron turns on easily and you can change temps easily, but to turn it off, I had to hold the button down for several seconds. I don’t know if that is how it is supposed to work, but odd considering hoe easily it turns on and the other buttons work. For the stated reasons, I highly doubt this is an authentic item and I have already initiated a return. *In the images you can clearly see the gap in the plates even when I used a decent amount of pressure to close them. You can also see a close up of the end where it is rough and my hair kept getting caught. This imitation glove is a complete joke.
