These sheets are clearly not cotton, and they're practically see through to boot! They have a chemical odor, so I washed and dried them upon receipt. The odor didn't go away, and the packaging wrinkles didn't abate despite a hot water wash. Not cotton. I ordered the silver color. See the other reviewer who actually went ahead with the burn test, these melted like plastic, and did not burn like cotton.
