Purchased this saw because I love Bosch tools. Look at picture posted of how far the bottom of blade would over cut your woodwork. I called bosch and they said that the jigsaw if only for rough work and that it was designed to cut that way. That is a joke to me as even when cutting thru 3/4" plywood it would produce an over cut of 1/8". He then advised me that I should have bought the older model and would not have as bad a problem. So if your trimming hedges with your jigsaw this should work great but as far as fine woodworking I would say I would have to pass on this jigsaw.
