This particular model DOES NOT COME WITH VOLUME CONTROLS. You have to live with whatever the volume of the device it connects to can do. The default volume is not enough, and maxing out the phone level is still not enough. These default to a low volume at the start so it's hard for a phone to increase it sufficiently. Very silly design that is not disclosed openly. Every single blue tooth device I've ever used came with a volume level control and it is a very necessary feature. The lack of volume controls should be prominently featured in the description so any normal person can expect they are going to have to live with whatever the volume defaults too. Imagine buying a TV that doesn't come with a remote and you only find out about it when you open the box. It's borderline trickery. Maybe all these 5 star reviews are people connecting to a stereo system because connecting to a phone is no good.
