Not suitable for iPhone XS Max
It is unable to balance iPhone XS Max. You can add some counterweight to temporarily "balance" an iPhone XS Max. However according to Zhiyun's customer service and Smooth 4's specification, the maximum payload of Smooth 4 is 210g, and an iPhone XS max weights 7.34 oz, which is 208g. Adding any counterweight will exceed the maximum payload. Zhiyun's customer service just told me, iPhone XS Max is not supported.
Pity for me that I just learnt this after my return window :-(
