Opinionated
I get Jamie Lynn wants to tell her "truth" but I felt it was simply her opinions about other people's actions without empathy. For example she starts off by pretty much saying her parents didn't want her or didn't have plans for her like her brother and sister considering their names start with "B" and her name is simply composed of her mom and dad's first names. As if her parents didn't have the energy to be creative and continue the tradition. She makes it seem she got the "leftovers" in life like her parents' attention because it was always directed at Britney. I know it was hard to understand as a child but now as an adult you'd think she understand their choices to give the family a better life. In a few chapters she takes subtle jabs to reveal Britney has lied about her personal life. We all know Britney claimed she was a virgin when she was with Justin. Jamie Lynn made it very clear several times that when she got her first tv show that she stayed at "their" home proving they did live together. She constantly talks how Britney changed throughout the years and how sad she was. But this book adds to the problem by bringing additional attention to Britney. Some may say in a good way and some may say in a bad way. It just doesn't seem like a autobiography. When she says as a child she did a lot for attention this book reciprocates those same sentiments.
