1 The bluray image is a step up from the dvds. But not that much better. If you compare this set to some other TV shows on bluray like batman or lost in space, Rockford looks like $#!&. 2 No extras. 3 No subtitles. Sad when the dvd had them, but millcreek is too cheap to pay an extra $35 to port them over. 4 Not enough holders for the discs. Each case has 2 holders and 4 discs. So you have to stack the discs on top of each other. 5 Flimsy outerbox. Not made to last. 6 The latter 8 movie length episodes are not included with this set, so its not really "complete". 7 Episodes have been edited. In an early episode Jim leads a tail into a parking lot and loses him, while In the original dvd Jim waits for the guy to leave the lot then comes flying across the street forcing the tail to gun it in reverse back over the tire spikes. The climax of the scene is gone. Update... Several more episodes in season one are edited by 20 seconds each, I guess thats an extra commercial. Watched about 2/3 of season One so far, but I don't think Ill watch anymore, since I know from another review that later episodes are edited. Overall I'm not happy about having to switch to my dvd set to watch an entire episode. I guess I could log the run time of each episode for both original dvd sets and bluray set...and compare to find the un-edited ones on bluray... Finally, comparing the total run times from the First complete Universal studios release set with this Millcreek version(minus the 8 movies) its missing 23 minutes.
