Works great when using their Maschine software, but other than that, it’s useless. Midi mode gives you 16 pads and thats all. No functions, no banks NOTHING! They give you the contoller editor software and it doesn’t even support the Mikro MK3! WTH?! To make things worse, even the forums are filled useless responses like “that’s not what its made for”, “you can’t do that”, “you should have read about it before buying it.” Well hopefully someone reads this and stays away. I will say this, Native Instruments has some die hard loyal users that spend tons of time finding work arounds and teaching others. My question is, why would you treat your customers this way? You should be listening to them and finding a solution to their problems instead of making them jump through hoops. One thing is for sure, everyone is seeing this companies true colors and they’re are all taking notes. Hopefully another company comes out with a better product and attitude towards their client base and future customers. Until then, I’m returning my Mikro and spreading the word for others to stay away.
