Not an Accurate Test
I live right near a copper mine and my stock tanks are full of rust. Just tried this out on my well water and it showed no signs of copper, iron or calcium carbonate lime that I see on the faucets. I believe this is an inaccurate test. I tried it three times to make sure I was doing it correctly. I have taken all the inorganic and organic chemistry classes at the University of California in Santa Barbara. So this was a very simple and easy to read test. If you need your water tested go to a proper testing facility. I returned the kit since it didn’t come out with any high metal content.
