Hello all, I originally owned the blue gloves seen here also bought online. Intended for my 2 CATS. 1 is long haired and the other is a medium hair. Strangely the Medium haired one sheds more fur. So i bought The purple Zoom Groom hand groomer in a pet store. It worked absolutly GREAT, however, i wanted to do a big job (2 cats) in less time, so i thought GLOVES. So I bought the Blue glove set online, not knowing what the term Plastic/rubber/silicone mix it would be but hoping for the best. After using it several times (spindles are soft which is good but need more of them to grab more hair) I decided i would spend more money on the yellow set of Gloves. I have to say although it looks like it could get hair, the spindles are hard, and even though they can grab fur, its not as much as the Blue gloves. I didn't really calculate that missing space meant missing fur since it had many more grab spindles of whatever that plastic is. And that is the other problem, they felt like they would grab the fur, but all Im doing is giving my cats a massage and spending more time vaccuming. Seriously, i just want the purple in a glove format. If you know what that "plastic, silicone, rubber" mix is or know of a product that grabs alot of cat fur at a time. Please let me know. Other than that, i would say this is probablly betther for a Horse with short hair, a monkey possibly, or how about a turtle, clean thier shell like a cuticle. Thats why it gets 2 stars. It looks good on paper, but doesn't perform.
