Not very accurate
I could not get an accurate reading after repeated attempts. I just purchased a new device that goes on the upper arm and not the wrist. I'll see how that one works.
To get accurate readings, I followed the following rules:
- it's best to take blood pressure from the left arm, if possible
- stretch out your arm, palm upward
- your left arm should rest comfortably at heart level
- rest in a chair next to a table for 5 to 10 minutes
- lean against the back of the chair
- place your feet flat on the floor (do NOT cross)
