I recently left a good review for these bowls however my dog has recently developed a cough and sneeze. He was put on both an antibiotic and steroid to help him - the cough never went away so they assume it was an irritant causing his symptoms. I recently discovered his bowl had this terrible black residue on the bottom that would consistently appear on my paper towel, regardless of how many times I cleaned the dish. This residue appears to be the cause of my dog’s problems. I would recommend NOT buying these dishes.
