I am revisiting my review and adjusting it. As of now, I have owned this ironing board for 6 months! I am a quilter and love the large size and the sturdiness of the board however, I've noticed deposits on the legs and today when I investigated further, removing the pad, I discovered a large portion of the top is rusted. Apparently, the power coat of paint was extremely thin AND no primer was used. Ironing boards are going to be subjected to steam from an iron, period! And for one of this price to have already started rusting in under 6 months is totally unacceptable. I have cleaned up and wire brushed the rusty areas, primed the board and have repainted. I hope that this solves the issues. My old ironing board that I replaced with this, I had had for approximately 40 years!!!
