Garbage. Literally. It's in the trash after a month. That bike stunk. Here's why: I bought this to teach my kid to ride a bike. What better bike to have then a Mongoose?! I mean that was an AWESOME bike when we were kids. Not the same today apparently. After unpacking it and putting it together, throwing away the giant box and taking it out for a few learning sessions I realized that something was wrong. Could I have put it together wrong? So I took a closer look..... and found out that both the fork and the frame were bent. The top cross bar of the frame was actually welded slightly to the right of the bottom- making it UNBALANCED TO ACTUALLY SIT ON THE BIKE for my kid. Bummer. I felt awful. Solution: Went to the bike shop, bought a bike that was straight and now we are riding bikes like a champ. First time on a decent bike for the little one was night and day. Dear manufacturer: No, I don't want to be contacted and no I won't pull down this review. Your stuff is garbage. Get it together. Mongoose? More like crummy-bike-company-with-a-sticker-fooling-idiots-dumb-enough-to-buy-this-trash bike company. Does that rhyme? No. I don't care. Your stuff is trash.
