I just purchased the Eufy BodySense Smart Scale with Bluetooth 4.0. The scale seems to work fine, but I have a major concern ....while setting up the smartphone app, I couldn't believe that Eufy requests access to my Email, my Google account and all search data and my Facebook account !!! Why in the heck do they need to access all my privacy, in order for me to weigh myself? I fear that Eufy is sucking as much blood as they can from users, to sell that data to anyone they want ...including health insurance companies who can use the data against you (weight/ health data). And why does Eufy need access to ALL my Facebook information, all my emails and Google account and searches. This seems like a major overreach of data and privacy???!!! EUFY ...please explain, in detail, why you need this access and what you do with this access and user data? Please reply with specific of why you need this access ...and what you do with users data. I'll be eagerly awaiting your reply. (My Goal = All I want to do is weigh myself and keep that information to myself.) Please explain ...I'm all ears.
