I was already familiar with this style of chair, so my review of this chair has nothing to do with the pluses and minuses of this basic chair design. This review is based solely on the quality of this product: Short of outright fraud, I don't understand how this chair can possibly have a 4-star average review score on Amazon. The build quality of this product is so atrocious that it shouldn't be given away, let alone sold. Using the included hardware, with all screws completely tightened, there is more than 3/4" of play between the two major frame pieces. This makes the whole chair unstable for a mouse to sit on, let alone me. (Note, I am below the 200 lbs weight rating, which is frighteningly low and should serve as a dire warning to any non-dwarf human being planning to sit on this chair.) Adding half of a sack of washers of the right size in the right places does help improve the stability, but it's still frighteningly unstable. Oh yes, it is black, it is adjustable, it has caster wheels, and it does have memory foam, so the description is accurate. In all my years of purchasing things on Amazon.com, I have never felt so ripped-off. On the plus side, they did include an extra set of caster wheels, which is either a bad indicator of their quality control or a fun preview of exciting failures to come...
