My dogs have eaten human grade food for years. We have done raw, we have done cooked, we have interchanged between the two- We have used JFFD, Darwin’s, home cooked by me, honest kitchen etc- interchangeably with NO issues. We have a kennel of 28 dogs who have special needs - auto immune issues - cancer etc which is why we never use commercial grade pet feed and why we use a ketogenic based diet for them. This stuff tore my dogs stomach apart! And we tried it for about a month or more. There’s a reason you put slippery elm into this mix - because the STEMS from the broccoli are known to cause GI issues in dogs- let me tell ya- this does too! Not just one dog- SEVERAL- after many rounds of metronidazole, Albon ang tylosin, and five different drool sample tests trying to figure out why we kept having bloody stools - we switched the food ... and poof! Everyone was fine again. Broccoli is a nutrient source but the stems are brutal on dogs - find something else to use! I go through over 200 lbs of food a month and sadly, you have lost us as a client because we had to spend just as much in diagnostics and meds to offset this food as we spent on the food itself.
