Concept is nice but not practical
The concept is really nice, my baby loved the whirlpool and bubbles effect, and the hand held shower head is a neat add on, however this is not practical or easy to use. First of all it took a while for us to figure out how the battery-powered attachment works and connects, once the batteries are in it is very heavy, not a big issue once we got the hang of it. Next, it is great to use for newborn and small infant stage since they fit perfectly in the little net part, once they grow too big for the net but are not fully sitting up on their own, I was stuck, ended up buying another tub that would support his back and allow for the MANY different stages of infancy. Another negative is that it is tremendously hard to clean, after a few weeks I noticed black and moldy stuff growing under the rubber ring in the bottom that makes the bubbles, you have to piece everything out and clean inside the rubber piece and surrounding. Also once the infant/almost toddler is sitting up on his own, you must be careful because the bottom of the tub is very SLIPPERY, my son has slipped many times sometimes even while sitting on his bottom! Water gets stuck inside the greenish compartment, I have not figured out how to open this in order to clean it inside, sorry too many parts and holes to clean out, a mother has no time for these things. Like I said great concept but needs ALOT of thought to be practical. Certainly not even worth the price. I bought a “First Years” tub and was way less than half the price and so much easier to deal with from newborn to toddlerhood.
