Toxic-like taste,smell. I noticed it after cleaning prepping the 1st time. The 2nd use it was overwhelming after finishing an 8 hour low mode. I had to throw out the roast...BUMMER! I LOVE All Clad and just replaced my 13 year old unit that finally died. Also, purchased one for my brother. There is definitely an issue, not healthy to cook in this. Amazon is returning both, going to contact All Clad directly too. They make a great product so there is something wrong with production. :(
