Putting my false securities into this product caused me to lose my dog. I have an active subscription, the collar reported 3/5 battery life but the app would never update her location, only her calories. I was a fool to think the application would be designed primarily to ping the collar but It would say where she was yesterday, but not at the moment. There is not a clear refresh/update button to update so you have to restart apps/phone. After multiple cell phone swaps to try to find her and the lack of fitbark support, she's gone.. I lost my therapy dog because an application designer decided there should not be an easy to locate refresh trigger in its application. Instead, they felt it was sufficient to update the pet's location every 12hrs which makes no sense in how that would be useful for a lost pet. I was receiving notifications daily of my dog's activity, sleep, but when this device was put to the test, it failed. I purchased it for that purpose but the only thing it seems to accomplish is telling me how my dog failed their average calorie burn. Thanks FitBark.
