Well, it is a year old and the plastic hook that secures the lid in the closed position just broke, therefore it doesn' close. This hood should be made of metal or of a thicker plastic. So I went to a hardware store and bought the clamp in the two pictures I post here. I screwed the clamp and seems to be quite a solid close, let's see how long it will last.
