It stopped charging after a few uses over a 6 month period. (My mom is walking better.) The Drive Medical Company never answered the phone. First person at Amazon customer service could not get hold of them either and told me to keep trying myself. I gave Amazon a negative review on the service. They were in touch with me in minutes, they still couldn't get a hold of Drive Medical, so they are going to pick up the old scooter and give us a new one in 2 days. I only expected a new battery, but they are going to replace the whole thing. I love Amazon. I got 77 orders from them in 2018 with no problems. Now I know how they handle problems and I feel like they did a great job. So 5 stars for Amazon
