Let me explain to you why this is the worst and most over priced litter box available. 1: The litter is expensive and takes AT LEAST a week to arrive. If you wait too long to order it, you will be screwed. Ditto the cleaning solution. 2: Speaking of litter, this stuff is awful. It sticks to the cats paws which gets all over the house. Stepping on this stuff is like stepping on little Legos. And it gets everywhere. We got rid of this box over 6 months ago and we're STILL finding litter. 3: The cycle takes 20 minutes so if you set it to run after every cat, or even more than twice a day, you're going to come home to s*** outside the litter box. 4: At least every other month it's going to flood for no reason. 5: You have to clean the water sensor every month. 6: If it doesn't get all the poop and any makes it to the dryer cycle, your house will smell like baked poop. 7: Running the "cleaning" cartridge every 3 months does not keep it "maintenance free". 8: This is the most important part: IF YOU BUY THIS THROUGH AMAZON, PET GENIE WILL NOT HONOR IT'S WARRANTY!!! They will still talk to you in the phone and give you troubleshooting help, but if it has to be returned, repaired, or replaced, they will not do it. I'm speaking from experience.
