1/2 the ingredients are sourced in China and they will not provide CoA
In correspondence with Mercola customer service staff I have learned that the following ingredients in Whole Food Multivitamin PLUS come from China: L-Glycine Calcium ascorbate Spirulina L-Cysteine HCI Broccoli Garlic Inositol Black Radish Carrot Beet Root PABA Green Tea 50% Polyphenols Rutin L-Methionine NAC Pyridoxal-5-phosphate Methylcobalamin When I saw this list I was alarmed about possible impurities in the ingredients. I requested that Mercola.com provide a Certificate of Analysis from a third party for things like lead, mercury, and ingredient concentration. Their reply was that the "certificate of analysis is proprietary information". And that is a direct quote. This is strange because their prior formulation of this product had a CoA available right on their website. Before you pay a premium price for this product you should demand that they disclose exactly who their suppliers are. You should ask them to demonstrate that they have the proper Certificates of Analysis to demonstrate the concentration and purity of their ingredients. This is not an unreasonable request when you are paying a premium price.
