You get what you pay for, and itsn't much. Needed a portable background stand. My usual is a studio wall mounted roller system. Should have realized from the price that it was going to be a disaster. No doubt the stand will hold a muslin, but it will not hold seamless paper or vinyl. It is unstable and the crossbar is a joke. The manufacturer used the cheapest materials possible. Tried sand bags but at the highest extension it still fell over.
