Hey Marko, This is Caryn, Dale’s wife. I wish I could say i’m in love with this tool, but not so much. Here it goes… By the way, my husband and I have college degrees . Directions Filling the torch 1. It does not say that indicate what position the safety lock should be in for it not “to be engaged.” Leave it up or push it down? Using the torch 1. Item 1 refers to the “safety lock.” The diagram refers to the “Fire lock” 2. Refers to the “flame adjustment slide” and the diagram refers to the “Air Adjusting Knob.” 3. Again refers to the “...flame lock button backwards toward the ignition button to lock the continuing flame.” My “flame lock button” is in the forward position on “off” and neither my husband nor I could move it. Relative to the scheme of things, if the imprints on the Gas Releasing Tube were in black it would be easier identify the marking. Here’s the BIG problem. Once the gas started coming out we could not stop it. We pushed the “air Adjusting Knob/flame adjustment slide” , the Fire Lock which could not be moved, you name it. We finally resorted to holding it until it used up all the gas. Consistency in terminology should be basic.What to do if the flame does not got out following the instructions as indicated should be indicated in the WARNINGS.Since this was a Christmas gift, I did not have the opportunity to use it or get back to you sooner. How would you like this sent back? What are my alternatives. Not totally satisfied, Caryn
