(for reference I'm a black woman with medium length hair) I've been having dry scalp/dandruff problems for awhile and nothing I tried helped until now. First wash made the itching stop but still flakes. Washed a few more times and I'm on wash 3 or 4, and I've finally noticed a real difference. Usually after a couple days my hair is almost caked with flakes but this time there's almost none. I can touch my hair and not have it rain flakes everywhere. I feel so relieved. It doesn't make my hair as silky as my other shampoo but it's still soft, smells amazing but not overpowering. I'll stick with this shampoo. EDIT (03/24/2021) Taking away all stars. For whatever reason they decided to add an ingredient, "Apple Cider Vinegar", to the shampoo and conditioner and not update the product details and picture. I assumed I was getting my usual stuff that I order every couple months. Nope, and I returned and tried asking for a replacement. That came in, same thing with the apple cider. On top of that I tried it out and it dried my hair out. Why on earth would they change something that was working? Maybe it works better for white hair but this product is aimed at black hair. I refuse to buy this crap anymore unless I can get the original stuff. Had a great thing going and they ruined it.
