I have gotten 2 of these, I got then first one and all it did after plugging it in was blink off & on. So I got a hold of Amazon and very nicely and very fast sent me a new one. I received the second one that does the exact same thing. Thinking that there is no way I have gotten 2 bad switches I contacted Fosmon who asked for the make and model #'s of my devices. After giving them this information I received another email from them stating that their: We have started noticing a trend recently that our pigtail switcher may not be compatible with most Sony brand BluRay DVD players. The reason is still unclear, however our Sales Dept has been notified of this issue and are contacting our suppliers regarding it. Since the unit draws its power through the HDMI cables you are using, it is possible the units you are using are not supplying enough power to the pigtail; thus does not work properly. It might be better to switch over to an HDMI switcher with an AC Power Supply. That way, it has a power source to work with most HDMI devices you may be using.
