I wanted these to work so badly. As a night nurse in an apartment that is currently under construction I was crying with joy when I first put them in at 8am and could not hear the banging my husband said woke him up. But by 12pm I was up due to the pain in my ears from where the charging part of the buds lay. I tried these 3x and each time the same, but by the 3rd shift even just putting them in hurt because by this point I had bruises. So unfortunately I am returning them. So close, I am heartbroken. Maybe if my ears were bigger? Otherwise tossing and turning they were snug and blocked out noise so well, plus the white noise was relaxing. If a Sleepbuds III comes out I will try again, if they manage to redesign them to fit without the pain.
