I thought I would give some time and use this product before writing a review. But I thought at first this was a great thermometer but I think I was shadowed by how easy it was to use. But I took my daughter to the emergency room 2 days ago because she was not acting right. When we got there they asked if she had been running a temperature and I said no but she does feels warm. Her temps at home has been 98.7, 97.6, and 99.3 at the hospital it was 102.2 umm what. That can't be right but they did it again and yes that was her temp. This was also only about 15 minutes after I had taken her last temperature which was the 99.3. I do not think that in 15 minutes her temp went up almost 4 degrees. Very upsetting and disappointing that I cannot rely on the product that I purchased. I will not recommend this thermometer to anyone.
