Yes, surprisingly there are decals under $20 that you can use to spruce up your home! We were quite shocked as we found decals for $50 - $100 easily online, but TimberGroup stood by their products and offered a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. What could go wrong? First, we received the item well packaged and no damage. Easy enough for a light paper roll protected by a cardboard tube to survive shipping. However, unrolling and flattening is tricky. You may want to ensure it is perfectly flat before you apply, as we left it flat for two days or so and it was still rolled back up pretty tightly. Having it flat will make it easier to apply as well. As we loved our new decoration on our wall, we began to see peeling in about 2-3 weeks after application. We thought maybe we got a product that was not as sticky as others, so we wanted to replace the item. However, be aware that the return policy is a strict 30 days from delivery. That means, if you by chance have a defective product that shows itself in a couple of weeks, you probably are past the window. That's even if you apply it right away (we waited a week for our mother in law to help). TimberGroup made it especially clear that no returns will ever be accepted after 30 days, not even an exchange. So don't go in expecting satisfaction when they really could not hold their end of the bargain. I even sent pictures to TimberGroup to show them that it was peeling, and they said the wall was textured so it won't stick well. I quote them below: "From the images, I can see that your wall is textured. I attributed the reason to that because it limits the contact area of the adhesive to the wall." -TimberGroup, 05/18/16 Buyer Beware - If you have any kind of texture on your wall (we have some smooth texturing, not rough), then they will NOT STICK. This is either not a long term product or just poor adhesive. After just a few weeks, the product peels from our walls. Even after contacting the seller, they recommended we try to use a hairdryer and get them to re-stick. They did stick, but only for a couple of days. Believe me, I have more important things to do running after my toddler than blow-drying my decal tree every couple of days. For under $20, you won't miss out on much. It's not like a $100 decal that you go deep into your pocket to get. Just don't expect Customer Service to really be there for you, and even if they claim 100% satisfaction, they really just say that to get a sale. In short, textured walls will apparently NOT WORK with this product. If you have any kind of texture or rough surface, don't bother trying. Product probably works in a perfect environment, but my environment was not good enough. For comparison, we purchased another decal from WallPlaza under $20 that worked very well. They are still stuck to the same textured wall and no problems. So we know how decals can work, this was not operator error.
