Wanted to use these at the cabin where there is no overhead lighting. These all use the same frequency so if you buy more than one, the switch will turn them all off within 100 feet. This is something that should be described in the product details. More typically these types of electronics have multiple channel settings so you can use more than one in the same house (like baby monitors for example). These do not have that option. If you only need one, it works as you would expect. The "rocker switch" is really just a push button and it doesn't matter if you push on the top or bottom. This seems a bit cheap to me. The wall plate does not screw to the wall, instead it slides down onto an under-plate. My kid slide it up and off the first time he tried to push the "rocker switch". There is a bright blue light in the center of the outlet piece that is on when the switch is engaged, which you may or may not like. If the bright blue light and single channel were described in the product details, and these weren't an issue for you, it would probably then be a 3 to 4 star product based on its affordability and what you get.
