After purchasing, I immediately received emails from the company owner asking to rate the product 5 stars. The context of these emails was that their product and customer service were top notch. I wasn't willing to rate the product until I'd used it for at least a moderate amount of time. The ear muffs were OK in terms of noise reduction; no better or worse than a pair of 3M 101 muffs that I've had for ages. The fit was tight, and the build quality was poor. Having seen very little use in comparison to ear muffs I've owned in the past, the ClearArmor product broke. The "arms" that hold the actual ear muffs on to the headband snapped off from the housing. Cheap plastic is culprit. The vinyl on the side of the cushion is splitting and opening up. This product gave up the ghost in a very short period of time. Several emails to the company's customer service went unanswered - it seems to be a dead end. I was convinced to purchase these based on lots of favorable comments, and some favorable articles online. My suspicion is the most of this PR and marketing is bogus. I wouldn't recommend the product.
