Not if you’re into HEA’s
It was an okay book and definitely angsty but I didnt care for the way it was written or really the plot. This book wasn’t what I imagined it would be at all. Basically in this book:
First few pages wife and husband fight. You don’t know why and there is nothing written about who leaves or where he/she goes... nothing. That sucked. Next, young nanny is hired to care for the 3 kids and the book is told from her POV and lots of flashbacks of how the wife and husband fell in love from THEIR points of view. There is barely any current writing from husband or wife. This is just not a happy book, although I know it is a duet and it may end happy. The author makes it seem like the nanny and husband are gonna be a thing and I don’t like that personally. In the book, the wife never sees her kids and I don’t like that either. I will read the next only because I want to see where it goes and I really hope the husband and wife get back together. Overall an okay book but not if your into sad duets that completely leave you hanging.
