Fun for my toddler, not for me
This game has some problems. You choose a type of cone and add your scoops. It doesn't really matter where you add your scoops. They probably won't be contained within the cone. There's a portion of the cone that remains in the foreground, but the ice cream will otherwise appear in perfect scoops anywhere within the rectangular decorating zone.
The decorations tend to be out of proportion to each other and the ice cream scoops and are not nearly as creative as I'd hoped. They are all stickers, even the liquid. There's no pouring or scaling option, and even the formed liquid doesn't snap to place on a scoop. You can have fudge or caramel hanging out by itself, which looks really odd.
User chooses when to eat the cone and when to return to the decoration screen. There's no reward or celebration if you eat the entire thing, which is probably good since it's so hard to actually make the whole concoction disappear with the cute, tiny, bite-shaped holes each click makes, but it would be nice if it would auto return to the home screen. My son will sometimes keep looking for the bit he missed and get really upset that the screen isn't changing despite his best efforts.
This game is a complete and total time waster that involves very little creativity.
All that being said, it keeps my little one occupied as long as I am around to fix the bits he has trouble with, and while that's not enough to keep it on my crowded kindle fire, it is enough for a second star. Barely.
