I was excited when my lamps arrived. I unpacked them and assembled them immediately. After I installed bulbs I set about cleaning off the packaging residue. I had read the reviews that the lamps were more turquoise than blue and that was what I was looking for. After two swipes. My cleaning cloth had the turquoise finish on it and the lamp was no longer turquoise. Instead, my lamp base had sections of clear glass. It is not made of turquoise glass, it simply has a turquoise wash over the glass that is easily eremoved with a wet cloth. I would give it zero stars if it was an option. I have never written a negative review on a product since those issues only affected me. I feel this is something that people considering this purchase should be aware of. My biggest regret is unpackaging and fully assembling both lamps before wiping them down. Now it is time to repackage for return. Blech.
