Does this thing work? I don't know and I'm not going to try; Their practices are just too sleazy for me. Yeah, I bought it and trying to do this thing right I called the Free Transfer Assistance advertised on their site. Wow, wonderful! something for older folks like me, to call and they will walk me through the process. They even access my computer to set up the software for me, how helpful can they be, eh? Well after downloading the app onto my old computer, the 'helper' went into my registry and, surprise surprise, showed' me all the little hanging bits that could be problems. But, all was not lost. Thankfully, their company could do a full clean up of my old pc for only $99! isn't that great? (My old computer works fine by the way). When I said no, she pulled the old 'talk to my supervisor' thing and got a slight discount. wow! Then she warned me the PC mover company would not be responsible if we did the transfer and my new PC blew up or started smoking. Ok, she just said they would not be responsible if we transferred and anything did not work. Pay is the money or else: Typical strong arm stuff. So I'm sending it back and washing my hands very thoroughly.
