Questionable Electrical Specs Here
The listing for this charger currently states "up to 50amp charging" on a NEMA 6-50 or 14-50 plug.
Please see NEC sizing rules. Secs. 210-22(c), 220-3(a), 220-10(b), and 384-16(c)
You cannot pull a continuous load above 80% of the breaker rating. Therefore, on a NEMA 6-50 or 14-50 plug (which must have a 50 amp breaker) you cannot charge above 40 amps (9.6kW). All this marketing of a 50 amp charger and 11kW+ charging is either highly misinformed or completely disingenuous. Please don't burn your house down trying to run 50 amp charging on a breaker/wires/plug that is not designed for more than 40 amps of continuous load like EV charging.
